Bastard Assignments at Asylum

Bastard Assignments return to Asylum

Bastard Assignments return to Peckham’s incredible Asylum for a night of invigorating experimental music and performance on Sunday April 19th.

The Acts

We’re delighted to host Danish Composer/Choreographer duo Kaj Duncan David and Troels Primdahl who will present a intensely engaging piece we had the pleasure of witnessing during our trip to perform in Copenhagen last month.

Composer Andy Ingamells makes a welcome return to Bastard Assignments after his short-shorts-giant-finger escapade at Fred’s flat before Christmas. We have no idea what he’ll do. Expect maniacal genius.

Soosan Lolovar will present a piece for Clarinet and Cello, while Josh Spear will show a new piece involving wheelbarrows, after his ping-pong inspired triumph at our Safehouse 1 event in February.

Also on the bill are the fantastic Hermes Experiment performing pieces by Timothy Cape and Edward Henderson.

The Venue

Asylum is an old, eerie bombed out chapel complete with crumbling plaster and stained glass windows, located near Queens Road Peckham Station.

Have a look at our video from our event there last February: (We loved it so much we had to come back)
